About

Hey, I’m Florian.

My wife calls me Science Boy, I don’t call her Nicola James. She writes about singer-songwriters, I post on books, philosophy and science-y stuff. One happy blogging family.

This blog was born in October 2011 when I followed a call for duty urging me to respond to a terrible article I had read in PLoS Biology. And once the first post was out, the others kept on coming.

Enjoy! And feel free to visit the Scientific A-side at markowetzlab.org.
